My Korean Name is Tae Geon Lee, and my English name is Dante.

Tell a little bit about yourself!

Hello. This is Dante from SurplusGLOBAL, who is an overseas logistics assistant. I joined SurplusGLOBAL in December 2017, and SurplusGLOBAL is my first job. Since I first joined the company, I have been fascinated by SurplusGLOBAL’s free culture and passionate DNA. I am still spending valuable time every day, aligning my growth and company growth at the same time.

What role do you play in a team at SurplusGLOBAL?

I am in charge of overseas import and export. I am in charge of a wide range of tasks ranging from simple paperwork to overall packaging and forwarding of the company's equipment, adjusting schedules, and responding to overseas customer logistics.

I am responsible for providing the best service by communicating closely with colleagues and customers and coordinating schedules in a timely manner.

To put it simply, We are unconsciously living in a part supply chain, even at this moment. My job is to make that supply chain efficient.

What are 3 positive things about you?

First, there is no hesitation in the question.

As I worked at here as my first job, I felt the difference between what I studied and what I do at here.

During the work process, I studied by looking for things I didn't know on my own, and when it wasn't solved, I learned by asking questions from my colleagues without hesitation. I think this is the biggest advantage that I was able to improve my work understanding.

Second, Practice to review

After completing one task, I often review and simulate myself in preparation for future tasks. At first, even if it was unfamiliar, after reviewing it like this, I was able to find myself performing tasks relatively skillfully.

Third, responsibility.

I don't think there's a distinction between big and small work. I have a sense of responsibility that I want to do one thing perfectly without any mistakes. I think responsibility is a big help to study and improve, and it is my asset as well.

How would you like to define being part of SurplusGLOBAL team?

SurplusGLOBAL is a place where anyone can be respected regardless of their position if they have expertise and responsibility in their work. Individual professional colleagues are working on the best result through free opinion and conversation in one space. Surplus global is a meaningful place to enable my growth along with the growth of the company.

Would you like to say something to your future colleagues?

SurplusGLOBAL is a company that is constantly innovating and changing. As the world's No. 1 used semiconductor equipment company, SurplusGLOBAL always try to think and move. And even not satisfied with the current number one, but also interested in relocating the cluster and various businesses with continuous investment and challenges. Challenges and changes are the same as my values in life. so, I was attracted to SurplusGLOBAL values, visions, and possibilities, so I became a member. I want to innovate and grow with my new colleagues who want to challenge and move together.

Have you ever done something dangerous?

I thought changing my job to logistics was a dangerous challenge. I, who majored in electronic engineering at university, suddenly decided to change my job, because I became interested in logistics by chance when I was in fourth grade. I didn't have basic knowledge about logistics, so I just started studying English and certificate. I thought it was late, but I was confident that I wouldn't regret it. As a result of my constant efforts, I was able to become a member of SurplusGLOBAL.

I will not forget the choices and efforts of that time and I want to grow myself steadily in SurplusGLOBAL.
